Release 5.7.0 is mainly a technical release in which Validaide platform will update its front-end component, so the application itself and the pdfs will look slightly different, but there are no substantial changes to the features.
In Release 5.7.0, we introduce the following enhancements to the Validaide application:
Minor visual changes on the homepage - We have started a rework on the menu and homepage of Validaide to make it more consistent and more user-friendly for the user.
Marketing opportunity – On the home page, a user can now contact us to share their news in the ‘What’s New’ section. The What's New section provides valuable insight into what is going on in Validaide, which data providers are updating their capabilities, and which companies have recently joined the platform. This will help you to stay informed if a company you invite joins the platform and reach out to new tenants.
Furthermore, we are now able to post relevant industry news here that can be interesting for everyone. If you have any news to share, such as new facilities opened, or new certifications received, you can inform us by clicking on the prompt shown at the bottom of the ‘What’s New’ section. We can then post it in the 'What’s New' section for you!
Removal of the lane comparison – this functionality will be removed with the current release. You can complete a lane comparison under SOPs. When creating an SOP, the user can add several lanes to it. In the Overview tab the user can then see the comparison.
Changes in the homepage for manufacturers – There will be small but visible changes in the homepage for manufacturer users:
The following icons and menu elements will be removed:
- Flight Search
- Lane comparison
- Homepage/sharing request and dashboard icons (Sharing requests will remain available under locations and suppliers)
Password policy update – For companies with Single Sign-on (SSO )enabled under security, the tenant administrator can see an update in the password policy stating “Modifying the Password Policy is currently not possible. If SSO is enabled for your company, the Password Policy configured below will be overruled by your company policy.”
Notification under product stability data – When editing product stability data, the administrator receives a notification that the edits made will affect lane the risk assessments where the product has been added.
Bug Fixes
- When an SOP was shared between two parties, in the SOP overview tab the owner of the SOP could see more details for the added lanes than the party that the SOP was shared with. This was resolved, and now both parties can see the same details of the added lanes.
- When downloading a lane overview, from the administration page in data exports, in Json format if there are lanes with duplicated names, the Json file only included only one of the lanes. This was fixed and all the lanes with duplicated names are included in the JSON export.
- On the 'My Locations' page for ground handling agents and air carriers, in the Insights tab, the graph that indicates the location used in lanes was not visible. This was fixed and the graph is visible now.
- In an approved SOP in the files tab, authorized users (administrator, users assigned in a workflow role) were not able to upload a file as the “Upload File” option was missing. This was fixed and authorized users can upload files in approved SOPs.
- For forwarders, in the company dashboard the graph "Lanes by Customer (Top 20)” was duplicated. This was fixed.
- In the lane overview page, when clicking on the 3 dots on the right side of a shared lane, the tab options were duplicated. This was fixed and the tabs are no longer duplicated.
- When downloading a JSON overview of a shared lane, if previously a location, responsible location, and origin location were indicated the corresponding fields were not populated in the export. This was fixed and the above references are populated.
