7.4.0 Release Notes

In Release 7.4.0. we introduce the following enhancements to the Validaide application:

SFTP addition to data exports – An SFPT synchronization possibility has been added. A user Administrator can modify settings under FTP. It is possible to switch protocols between FTP and SFTP.

Daily lane CSV download – A lane CSV download can be enabled for a daily download in the settings.

Additional insights for premium packaging repository members - For premium packaging account users a lane data chart pie is available under the “Insights” tab, displaying the number of lanes a packaging product is being used in.

Audit trail - In the admin menu, a new menu item “Audit Trail” has been added. The audit trail currently shows lanes and SOPs. The audit trail covers the creation, modification, and deletion of lanes and SOPs.  Any changes made in the 'Configuration tab' are captured in the audit log. When clicking on view details more information can be viewed. Read more about it here.

Packaging Qualified duration override - Possibility to override Qualified duration when adding packaging to the “My Packaging” list. This feature is available to both - manufacturers and forwarders. No qualified duration overriding is available for an electro-active container and thermal blanket when adding packaging to the “My Packaging” list.

Possibility to add approved packaging in a lane creation request - When creating a lane request, manufacturer can add approved packaging from the “My Packaging” list.

As the forwarder receiving the lane creation request is the owner of the lane, the packaging information can still be overridden by the forwarder. Forwarder has access to the packaging information of a manufacturer if the manufacturer has sent it in a lane request. The lane is automatically shared with the manufacturer and the only way to remove the manufacturer is by clicking on the “stop sharing” button, the packaging has to be changed to own or manual if a forwarder wants to stop sharing the lane.

A manufacturer user can still go back and override the packaging, even if the forwarder has changed it.  All changes will be captured in the audit trail. The lane status has to be

“In Progress” in order to apply the change.

Who can change make this change? – approvers, QA approvers contributors and tenant admin.

Removal of qualified duration question for certain types of packaging - When creating a lane, the qualified duration question no longer appears for options “non-insulated” or “thermal blanket”, two active types, electroactive and dry ice active.

Minor enhancements

Additional fields in a lane JSON – New additional fields have been added in the lane JSON– 2 extra fields in packaging, name and part number and version control, each version gets all values of 6 factors of the lane risk assessment.

Two access tiers for manufacturers – From this release, Validaide will provide two access tiers to pharmaceutical manufacturers:

• Basic – Provides access to the basic functionality in the Validaide application. Designed for manufacturers that receive Lanes from a single forwarder including digital approvals.
• Premium – Provides access to more advanced functionality, such as mass editing, requesting Lanes from forwarders, creating their own Lanes, export of Lanes, and much more.

Bug Fixes

• When navigating in an “Approved” lane an external reviewer is removed from the “Modify User Roles” pop up window, then the lane goes back to “External Review”.  This was fixed and if the external user that was removed was not the one that approved the lane, then the lane stays in the “Approved” status.
• When navigating to a shared lane that was created from a request and has external approvers, the users have the option to unshare the lane.  This was fixed, and the option to unshare a lane that has external approvers is not available anymore.
• When downloading a Location Capabilities PDF, some of the questions in some of the sections in the questionnaire are duplicated.  This was fixed the Location Capabilities PDFs don’t contain duplicated questions anymore.
