In Release 7.7.0. we introduce the following enhancements to the Validaide application:
- CO₂ Emission Estimation on Packaging Products

1. CO₂ Emission Estimation on Packaging Products
Forwarders and Manufacturers can now view CO₂ emission calculations in the Packaging listing page. The calculation includes both a standard transport lane and reverse logistics, enabling better comparison between Packaging Products with a common measurement. While Packaging typically accounts for just 1–2% of total emissions, this visibility supports more informed sustainability decisions.
2. Audit Trail & Activity Log CSV Download
Tenant Administrator can now download CSV files of the Audit Trail and Activity Log. To ensure performance, downloads are limited to a maximum of 5,000 entries. A tooltip message appears when hovering over the download button to inform about this limitation.
3. Enhanced Lane CSV Downloads
The lane CSV export now includes additional data fields from the Version Control tab: Approved on, Expires on and Revision Period. These new fields help streamline your review processes and improve visibility into lane statuses and associated timelines.
4. External Approvers Can Adjust Lane Revision Periods
Pharmaceutical Manufacturers can now update the Revision Period for lanes shared with them. This improvement reduces unnecessary rejections, shortens review cycles, and supports better operational change alignment.
- Lane revision period can now be updated under the User Roles > Revision tab in the lane Configuration page.
- This is only applicable for lanes in the following statuses: In Progress, Internal Review, External Review, Internal QA Review and External QA Review.
- This functionality is not available for lanes in Approved, About to Expire or Expired statuses.
5. Location Active/Inactive Label Added
Tenant administrators and Responsible users can now deactivate company locations to reflect site changes. Deactivated locations will no longer appear in the selection list when configuring Lanes and SOPs, helping to maintain data accuracy and relevance.
- To set up a label, a new field “Is this Location currently active?” has been added under Location Configuration tab > General Information, with options: Yes / No
- This label is not shown under the Market Info > Locations
- Inactive locations won’t be selectable in lane steps
- Responsible and tenant admin can update this information in any location workflow status
6. Expiry Date Visibility on SOP and Route Evaluation Listing Page
Expiration date of SOPs and Route Evaluations is now visible on the SOP list page.
Other enhancements:
- UX Improvement - In the Administration menu, the Knowledge Base item has been changed to Help Center.
- Pick-up/Drop-off Phase in a Road Step - In the previous release, we introduced the ability to define separate pick-up and drop-off phases within a lane Road step. With this release, you also have the option to select a single phase that covers both actions, offering more flexibility during configuration.
- Sustainability tab can be enabled or disabled under the Lane settings card:
Ocean Carriers, Wholesalers, and Air Carriers will not be able to enable the Sustainability tab when creating lanes, as they do not have access to the Packaging repository. (Note: The premium subscription is only available to Packaging Manufacturers, Air Carriers, and Pharma Manufacturers.)
When a Forwarder (as the lane owner) or Pharma Manufacturer share a lane, the receiving party will see the Sustainability section only if it was enabled by the lane owner. If the receiving party is a Pharma Manufacturer with Basic access, they will not see the Sustainability section — even if the Forwarder has enabled it.
- Timestamp Added to Weekly Lane CSV Export Filename - The weekly Lane CSV zip file exported from the Data Exports section now includes the date and time in the filename.
Bug Fixes:
- When navigating to the Overview page of a lane, the description label was displayed, even though there were no details added in the field. This was fixed and the description label will not appear if there are no details added in the field.
- When navigating to the lane listing page, the Pharma Index for some lanes appears as N/A even though the lane has steps and the Pharma Index appears in the Timeplan tab. This was fixed and the Pharma Index is available everywhere in the lane.
- When navigating in a Transport or Warehouse SOP the size of the map creates superfluous spaces. This was fixed and there are no superfluous spaces created by the map.
- When an Administrator is reassigning roles form one user to another, if the first user has a lot of roles, the system breaks with time out and doesn’t reassign all the roles automatically. This was fixed and the system doesn’t break anymore when reassigning a lot of roles from one user to another.
- When downloading a PDF of a lane with steps that have no weather, the steps are excluded from the PDF. This is not the case anymore, the steps are included in the PDF now with the indication “No weather information available for a transit step”.
- When a user receives a reminder email to join Validaide, the “Accept Invitation” button was not fully displayed. This was fixed and now the button is fully displayed.
- When requesting a reset password email as a user, a pop up message was appearing indicating that an email was sent to the email that was requested for. This message was changed and now the pop up shows “If this email address is registered, you’ll receive instructions shortly”.
