5.9.0 Release Notes

In Release 5.9.0, we introduce the following enhancements to the Validaide application: 

Risk Landscape Overview – With the new release the users, who have access to the lane overview, will be able to find Pharma index indications in the lane overview, including sorting and filtering.

Pharma manufacturers will find a new graph, in analytics dashboard, based on lanes shared by forwarders and Pharma Index.

The Pharma Index and all the sub-scores will also appear in the Lane Overview download.

Lane bulk actions – Users can now complete bulk actions to refresh capabilities and restart the workflow in lanes.

• Not more than 20 lanes can be refreshed (because of performance).
• Restarting the workflow can be done by the responsible of a lane or the administrator and refreshing of a lane can be done only by the responsible at the company that created the lane.
• When selecting lanes to refresh, the user will get a notification on how many lanes the system will update.
• The user can work on other things while the system is updating the lanes. The user will not get a message that it has been done. It can be seen when refreshing the lane overview page.

Actual shipment performance in lane configuration – When creating a lane, users are able to add actual lane performance. This enables them to document incidents on a lane during shipments. Only users at the company that owns the lane (created it) can make such changes. If a lane is being shared with a customer, e.g. manufacturer, they cannot add this information.

The lane performance can be added in any stage of the workflow even Reviewed. The number of shipments during the period should be indicated. Incidents are differentiated into two types of incidents:

• Temperature-Generic - filling in only one number, the total of temperature incidents.
• Non-Temperature - The user gets a list with generic categories

Under the assessment, a user sees a lane performance tab. This will be included in the pdf export. When a lane with added lane performance is being shared with a customer, under the “Assessment tab” the customer can see Lane Performance. Currently, it will not be included in the calculation of the Pharma Index.

Insufficient data change in the Lane Assessment algorithm: The overall calculation of pharma quality and security measures will include the parties with insufficient data (they are currently excluded).

When there is no capability information available for suppliers or supplier locations, currently this does not have a negative impact on the Lane Risk Assessment. Therefore, a Lane Risk Assessment with 7 suppliers, which has no capabilities information about 2 suppliers can still have a Pharma Quality and Security Measure score of Excellent.

With the upcoming algorithm upgrade, a conservative approach will be adopted, and parties with insufficient data will be included in the overall calculation of pharmaceutical quality management and security measures, ultimately affecting the Pharma Index.

Minor changes.

Changes in top bar/menu – With the new release, on the top bar the user will be able to find the “Sign out” button under the username and quick actions have been removed.

Product overview visualization – In the “Overview tab” of a product a new product visualization has been added.

Bug Fixes.

• When navigating to a shared lane, under the Timeplan tab, the links that exist in the names of the companies handling each step of the lane do not work.  This was fixed and now when the users click on the company name they are redirected to the Market info page of the company they clicked on.  
• When assigning internal approvers for an SOP, and one of the approvers needs to be changed to another user, the new approver will not receive a task in their pending tasks for them to approve the SOP.  This was fixed and now the new approver receives a pending task.
• When navigating to a location and downloading the PDF file for the location, the climate graphs are too small.  This was fixed and the graphs are back to their normal size.
• Navigate to a lane, under configuration when adding a Pick Up Point or a Drop Off Point, and navigation to Validaide Location in the window that opens, the system gives an error if there is no location selected.  This was fixed and now an empty Pick Up Point and Drop Off Point can be added.
• When navigating to a lane that has several climate graphs and downloading the lane.  The pdf file only includes 2 of those graphs. This was fixed and now the pdf file includes all the available climate graphs.
• When uploading a file type .csv in Lane/SOP/Supplier/Supplier Location/Company Location in the Files tab, the system gives an error that the file exceeds the maximum amount of MB even if the file is in the limits.  This was fixed a user can upload a file of type .csv to any entity when it matches the allowed maximum size of 10 MB.
• When navigating in Market Info and clicking on a company to report a missing location, the system gives an error.  This was fixed and now users can report missing locations for existing companies in Validaide.
• When creating a lane with connecting flight steps, when opening the editing options for the 2nd flight, under the Capabilities tab, the quality index and security index are not shown.  This was fixed and now both flight steps include the quality index and security index. As for the first leg, Validaide will select the best view of capabilities available for the second leg.
