5.8.0 Release Notes

Updated homepage for Pharma manufacturers - New homepage for manufacturers to highlight user’s tasks, assignments, and dashboards for SOPs and Lanes to ensure a better overview and increase user-friendliness. In the homepage dashboards the user will be able to see: 

• Assignments - here the user will find which roles have been assigned to the user in Lanes or SOPs.
• Open tasks - here the user can find open tasks in lanes and SOPs 
• Under Your Company in a Nutshell:  
  • Summary of top 3 forwarders sharing lanes with you. 
  • Summary of top 3 forwarders your company shares SOPs to.

Improved manufacturer analytics dashboard - A tenant administrator will be able to find more information in the dashboard under Administration – Dashboard. Here the tenant administrator will be able to see the following tabs: 

• Overview tab - Here the user can find a brief overview of the most relevant metrics. 
• Lane tab - Here the user will find information on manufacturer-owned lanes and lanes that have been shared with the manufacturer by a forwarder. 
• SOPs tab - Here the user can see analytics on their own SOPs and SOPs shared with the manufacturer by forwarders. 
• Company tab - General company information overview.

Lane Change Control – clear outdated capability indication - A new icon has been added to indicate the lane status, green meaning your lane is up to date and yellow - indicating the lane is out of date. Furthermore, a filter has been added to the filter based on the lane status and a new column has been added in the CSV export to indicate the lane status. The icon is further used wherever capabilities used in the lane are out of date.

Minor enhancements

• Error update when creating a location - When creating a location, if a mandatory field is not filled in, the page redirects you to the necessary tab to fill in the required information.

• Notification functionality update - When clicking on a notification, the system redirects the user to the entity the notification refers to. 
• Removal of a step in the approval process if the responsible and reviewer are the same - When defining capabilities in a workflow, in case of the same user being the Responsible and the Reviewer, the user is able to review the capabilities in one step. 
• New booked temperature in ocean lanes - When creating an ocean lane a user is now able to select a new temperature range of -50C to -25C when selecting a reefer container. This new booked temperature is taken into account when calculating the Ambient Temperature Exposure. 

Bug fixes

• On the lanes page, when trying to delete a lane that includes a flight step or trying to delete a flight step from a lane, the system gives an error. This is not the case anymore the issue is fixed.  
• For administrators of organizations that activated the SSO (Single Sign-On) connection, when navigating to the administration page under the users listing page, new users show as pending even if they already logged in to Validaide. This was fixed and when the new users log in their status changes to active. 
• On the lanes page, when filtering lanes when filtering on Origin/Destination, the loading of the results was slow. The users now should expect faster loading of the results. 
• For administrators of forwarding companies that have the FTP synchronization enabled, when navigating in the administration page in the data exports, the page gives an error. The page no longer gives an error. 
• For forwarders, on My Suppliers page, there is no option to download the capabilities of a supplier that shares them publicly via pdf or spreadsheet. This is fixed and now the pdf and spreadsheet download is available.  
• For administrators, in the administration page in users, when trying to remove a user that all their roles were reassigned to another user, the system doesn't allow the removal. This has been fixed and the users can be now removed. 
• For forwarders, in the Companies page under Market Info when requesting airport capabilities from an airline, the system does not allow the user to select a person from the airline to send the request. This has been fixed.
