5.5.0 Release Notes

In Release 5.5.0, we introduce the following enhancements to the Validaide application:

Single sign-on (SSO) – Validaide platform has now added the possibility to activate SSO, if your company is interested, please contact us at support@validaide.com or contact your account manager.

Product temperature exposure algorithm change – This improvement is being implemented to provide a more accurate lane risk assessments by evaluating the residual risk on the product temperature after applying packaging.

Ambient Temperature Exposure provides an assessment of the difference between the Predicted Temperature outside the pallet and the Booked Temperature Range. In the lane ‘Assessment tab’ when selecting the subsection ‘Temperature exposure’ you can find two new columns. The additional columns are ‘Packaging’ and ‘Product’. For each step of the lane, we calculate the final product exposure, which is the remaining risk after having applied packaging to ambient temperature exposure.

This change in algorithm is also visible in the ‘Assessment – Overview tab’. We will now calculate values for product temperature exposure for January and July, which will show the residual risk on the product after applying the mitigation of the packaging on the predicted ambient temperature exposure.

The ‘Pharma Index’ will contain only this new ‘Product Temperature Exposure’ and will no longer show Ambient Temperature Exposure and Packaging separately.

In an ocean lane assessment temperature exposure, a container type is clearly indicated as shown in the visual below. 

When selecting reefer as a container type for the ocean the protection is excellent, see below, the calculation of product temperature exposure is based on the container type instead of the packaging type.

Furthermore, you can see the updated factors in the lane ‘Overview tab’ and in the pdf export.

When adding a lane to an SOP, the evaluation appears in the SOP ‘Overview tab’.

The following changes in the assessment will be applied to all lanes, new and existing ones. Further improving the evaluation including the mitigation of the packaging in a lane the Pharma index will improve or in a worst-case scenario, remain the same, if no packaging has been applied.

Minor enhancements

User is able to filter by FRO on booked temperature – Now it is possible, in the lane overview screen, to filter lanes by FRO as selected temperature.

Users can select <-20 as product temperature in a lane – When creating a lane if selecting the option ‘The product temperature is different from the booked temperature range’ it is now possible to select <-20 as a product temperature range.

A rail carrier location can be selectable at the origin/destination of an Ocean step (rail) – When adding or editing a handling step it is possible to select a container terminal location used at the origin and destination.

A Rail carrier can be selectable for Rail transport in an Ocean step – When creating an ocean lane a rail step can be added/created. In the configuration screen, select option ‘Add Ocean Step’, when indicating what vessel is being used, select ‘Rail Transport’ after that you can select the rail carrier.

User can export products – A user is able to create a product download in a CSV format.

An authorized user is able to upload/modify/download files for a product – It is now possible to upload, modify and download files for a product in the ‘Product’ screen ‘Files’ tab.

Bug Fixes

• If a Responsible user has been suspended, without having their task and roles reassigned, the form for Modify User Roles where the responsible/reviewer had been saved, the form breaks, this has been resolved.
• When modifying a flight step in a lane, a flight code had several references with the same flight, this has been resolved and flight steps can only have 1 reference.
• When a shared lane has been added to an SOP but is not shared with the same company, the link to the SOP returns an ‘AccessDeniedException’ error message, this has been resolved and now the shared lane SOP does not exist as a link in the lane overview page unless the SOP is also shared with the company.
• In a company location ‘Gallery tab’, when modifying an image, the dialog field can be saved without providing any information even though is required, this has been resolved and the dialog field is no longer required.
• In the ‘Overview tab’ of the lane, durations show overlapping, this has been resolved and the durations are no longer overlapping.
• In the supplier location PDF download, the contact person details were populated incorrectly, this has been resolved.
