5.1.0 Release Notes

Introduction 

In Release 5.1.0, we introduce the following enhancements to the Validaide application:

1. Multiple road suppliers: it is now possible to add/remove multiple road suppliers and road locations to a road step in a lane.

   • When adding a Road Step, Road Suppliers can be pre-populated with the Road Subcontractors of a Company Location
   • When adding a Road Step, Validaide automatically selects which Road Supplier capabilities to use.
   • The user can see the selected multiple Road Suppliers in the Lane Timeplan and configuration.
   • When multiple Road Suppliers are selected for a Road Step, the user can modify which Supplier/location's Capabilities are used.

2. Minor enhancements:

   • Supplier location classification and UI enhancements.
   • Lane: When there is a Flight step with None as Booked Temperature, ambient temperature should be determined as “ Not Controlled”, but it was set as “ Unknown”.

Multiple road suppliers

In release 5.1.0, we have given the users the possibility to add/remove multiple road suppliers and road locations to a road step in a lane. This was developed so that a forwarder/ manufacturer does not have to create and maintain a lane for each sub-contracted Road Transport provider. They can create one lane for the combination of subcontractors.

• When adding a Road Step, Road Suppliers can be pre-populated with the Road Subcontractors of a Company Location that has been pre-defined.

• When adding a Road Step, the application automatically selects the worst-case scenario, meaning the Road Supplier with the lowest capabilities score. This is shown by underlining that Supplier.

• The user can see multiple Road Suppliers in the Lane Timeplan and configuration.

• When multiple Road Suppliers are selected for a Road Step, the user can modify which Supplier/Location's Capabilities are used. Afterwards, a user can choose whose definition of the capabilities (View) is used.

Minor enhancements:

• Supplier Location classification - Suppliers and companies can define and customize their own labels for two different types of classification (for Company Location or for Supplier Location and Suppliers).

• Capabilities overview upgrade – UI change in the capability data display.

• Lane: Having a Flight step with None as Booked Temperature, ambient temperature should be determined as “ Not Controlled”.

Bug Fixes

• A user can now add up to 40 characters to the company name. Previously, only 32 characters were allowed in the company name field.
• A user encountered an error after adding a flight step with ULD breakdown unchecked. This has been fixed.
• A user encountered an error when trying to modify a forwarder company location under the Modify Configuration and saving with no changes. This has been fixed.
