Introduction

With Release 3.2.0 we introduce several new features to Validaide:

  1. File Upload
  2. Weekly email reminder of open tasks
  3. Additional information for the Location download
  4. Enhanced Operational Dashboard for Administrators
  5. Other smaller enhancements and bug fixes

1. File Upload

You can now upload files in several places: to Locations, Company, Suppliers and Lanes. This allows you to store Certificates, Audit Reports, data logger files and other documents in Validaide.

We introduced a separate Files tab for this on the corresponding pages, see Company file upload for example:

After uploading a file, it can be modified, downloaded or deleted according to your needs.

If you upload a file for a Lane and you are sharing that Lane, the file will be visible and downloadable for your customer as well.

2. Weekly email reminder of open tasks

In Validaide when there is an action needed from you, you are notified of it and also a task is created for you on the Home page. We would like to encourage our users to finish their tasks, therefore we are introducing a weekly email reminder and overview of their open tasks, categorized per type. We hope that this will help you to see better what actions are pending from your side on the platform and also help you prioritize these tasks.

The task reminder can be enabled/disabled according to your preferences.

3. Additional information for the Location download

Users can download an overview of their Locations from the My Locations overview screen. This includes information about Company Locations and Supplier Locations. We have now added the following information to the download:

  • For Supplier Location: If the Supplier Location is Direct Supplier (indicated with Yes or No).

  • For both Company Locations and Supplier Locations:
    If the Location is Land-side (Yes or No) and Air-side (Yes or No).

  • For Company Locations: if the Location is handling of behalf of other Company Locations.

4. Enhanced Operational Dashboard for Administrators

For Administrators, in the Administrator menu there is a Dashboard available that shows statistics on locations, suppliers, lanes, data sharing and your own users. We have made some enhancements to this dashboard to meet the needs of our customers better. See example of a demo environment:

5. Other smaller enhancements and bug fixes

  1. A Location (company/supplier) can handle on behalf of multiple Locations
  2. The Company Type is indicated in the Supplier Excel download
  3. You can filter Suppliers on Country
  4. You can edit the Contact Person for a Company Location
  5. Reviewer of Location does not receive an email anymore upon rejecting Capabilities
  6. Lanes Overview: Create Lane: 'Approval Workflow' can now selected in form Create Lane
  7. Gallery tab is not shown anymore for Supplier Locations
