7.2.0 Release Notes

In Release 7.2.0. we introduce the following enhancements to the Validaide application:

An additional role in the signing order of approval workflow – This feature is available for forwarders and manufacturers in lanes and SOPs. It is possible to select QA (Quality Assurance) to approve lane/SOP. This is an optional field and thus is not required. It is possible to add up to 6 QA users.

The QA is the final approver in the approval workflow if assigned. QA will receive a task after the approver has approved the lane/SOP. QA user or users can be assigned in both, external and internal approval workflow.

Lane approver, responsible, tent admin can add QA approvers.

If a lane has been internally approved already and external approvers are added, the lane changes to the status “External Review”.

A user gets a task only when the previous user has approved. Even in approved lane user roles can be changed.

Update in manufacturer dashboard - The manufacturer dashboard shows two new approval workflow statuses “Internal QA Review” and “External QA Review” have been added.

Additional options under lane and SOP status filter – The new lane and SOP statuses “Internal QA Review” and “External QA Review” have been added.

Two additional fields when approving a lane request – When approving a lane creation request, two additional fields are available – “your company approver” and “your company QA approver”.

When starting the workflow, if fields have been filled in, they will automatically appear as prefilled.

Changes in PDF exports – Several visual enhancements have been implemented for the PDF exports. These updates aim to improve the readability and overall user experience of our documents. The changes will apply to the following PDF types:

• Lane PDF
• SOP PDF
• Location PDF
• Supplier PDF

What’s Changing?

• Improved Layout: We have refined the layout to ensure information is more accessible and easier to navigate.
• Enhanced Design: A modernized design with updated fonts, colors, and graphical elements to enhance clarity and professionalism.
• Consistent Formatting: Standardized formatting across all PDF types for a uniform look and feel.

Minor enhancements

Possibility to add more information when defining air carrier products – Air carriers can now, add more in configuration when adding products based on IATA.

Indicate the existence of quality agreements between own locations - Company locations, that HQ has internal quality agreements between HQ and local branches. The option to add quality agreements in company locations has been added. This information is visible in the exports as well.

Additional information in Country Risk Score – Under Country Risk Score a full country name and country code are visible. Risk has new, clearly indicated column.

Added information text in the “Assessment Overview” tab - In the Assessment Overview tab, country security risk has an added explanation under the question mark icon.

Password management update – The password length is increased from 10 to 12 characters,password history, password dictionary, and personal data will be saved of the last 5 passwords, and will not be allowed to use when changing it. https://auth0.com/docs/authenticate/database-connections/password-options

Bug Fixes.

1. As a freight forwarder administrator, it’s not possible to add a file to a packaging solution that exists in your packaging lists. This was fixed and the Freight Forwarder administrators are able to add files to packaging solutions.
2. As a user, in the configuration tab in a lane, the button for requesting the capabilities of a supplier is not visible.  This was fixed and now the button is available and the users can request supplier capabilities directly from a lane.
3. When navigating to the SOP tab, in the SOP details, the file count indicates “1 file” for all the SOPs that don’t have any files uploaded.  This was fixed and now the SOPs that don’t have a file upload, have the correct file count.
4. When navigating to the Lanes overview and filtering by “Is being shared” and “Outdated” at the same time, the page gives an error message.  This was fixed and the system now provides the results of the filtering.
