In Release 6.2.0. we introduce the following enhancements to the Validaide application:
- Linking packaging from your pre-defined list to lanes (Forwarders and Manufacturers) - Both freight forwarders and manufacturers can now add specific packaging products from their approved list to lane risk assessments. Packaging has to be added first in the list "My packaging".
- Additional fields for packaging products - Packaging providers can add extra information to their packaging products such as Shipping and Monitoring, which allows packaging providers to log more detailed information about their products.
- and Part Number, packaging providers have the option to include the part number in their products.
Bulk actions:
- Lanes and SOPs - There are new bulk actions for lanes and SOPs (actions that can be applied to multiple lanes at the same time). Users can share multiple lanes and SOPs with external parties and mass approve the workflow at once.
Minor enhancements:
- Re-addition of flight search for manufacturers - Flight search is now available for manufacturer users.
- Forwarders can be listed as Primary Carriers - In Lanes, under parties, users can select freight forwarders as primary carriers.
- Manufacturer dashboard update - More detailed insights on the landing page and administration page. With the latest Release, users can see 5 forwarders (instead of 3 previously), the total number of lanes, and a breakdown of the lane status. This is possible by clicking on a forwarder's name and see all the above-mentioned information.
Bug fixes:
- When navigating to a lane in the lanes menu, under the Assessment tab, when opening the Product Temperature Exposure dialog, the Explanation for the Ambient Temperature exposure is incorrect. This has been fixed and the explanations are displayed correctly in the Product Temperature Exposure dialog.
- When navigating to a flight search, and creating a lane by performing a flight search, even though the origin and destination ground handling agents are defined by the airline, the field is not populated. This has been fixed and the ground handling agents are populated now.
