6.0.0. Release Notes

In Release 6.0.0, we introduce the following enhancements to the Validaide application: 

Thermal Packaging repository – This functionality has two subscription models:

• Essentials – Offering basic features free of charge. For this subscription type, two menu items are available – “My Company” – which contains your company information and “My Packaging” where the tenant administrator can add packaging information and for each packaging can add one image.
• Premium – With this subscription type the company can add an unlimited number of images to their packaging, which will appear in the overview tab. Receive digitally shared Lane Risk Assessments and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS)

Under “My Packaging” a user with tenant administrator access can add, edit, or delete packaging. In order to add packaging, the following steps have to be carried out. Packaging group packaging information must be filled in.

• General:
  • Packaging name.
  • Pharmaceutical product temperature range.
• Configuration:
  • The qualified duration of packaging.
  • Refrigerant used for packaging.
  • Insulation used for packaging.
• Dimensions:
  • Payload dimensions.
  • External dimensions.
  • Payload volume.
  • Tare weight.

When adding a packaging group, certain specifications are mandatory. Different questions are being asked based on packaging type.

When creating an electroactive packaging type different fields need to be filled in and for a Thermal blanket only the name is a required field.

For forwarders only administrators can add packaging products to their list. Forwarders and manufacturers can add their documents under packaging types.

Additional bulk action – An additional bulk action has been added when sharing LRAs. In order to share LRAs in bulk the following criteria have to be met:

• If the customer is active on Validaide (a tenant).
• The LRAs have to have a customer assigned.
• The lanes can be shared in bulk only with the same customer at once.

When the LRAs are being shared the user with whom the lanes are being shared with gets an email notification. If a lane is being shared it cannot be reshared. This feature currently is available only for freight forwarders.

Minor enhancements.

• Session timeout popup – After 10 minutes of inactivity, users receive a notification in the form of a popup, if the user responds to the pop-up by clicking on “Still here” the session gets extended to 30 more minutes. If Validaide is open in several tabs user get still signed out.

• Additional products for air carriers – More products can be added for air carriers, up to 6.

• Ocean carriers as road transport providers - Ocean carriers can be selected as road carriers in a lane step if the company has been set up to provide road transport or under “My Locations”, Configuration>Suppliers, as road transport providers.

• Additional product categories – Two new product categories are now available in Lanes, Product and SOPs - Controlled Drugs and Standard Pharmaceuticals.

• Update in the GHA capability status extract – From now on the GHA extract will contain only locations with existing capabilities.
• A minor visual change in the Validaide platform – Previously to provide additional information a user could hover over an information icon (add here) this icon is no longer supported, so you will find informational texts under some functionalities. (Request clarification on which places for precise wording).
• Naming change – When creating a Lane Risk Assessment, the naming “Packaging Viability” is changed to “Qualified Duration.”

• Lane evaluation – Under SOPs for a selected SOP type “Lane Evaluation” there no longer is a “Contact tab” and in the “Overview tab” a user can now find two new tabs – “Details” and “Lanes”.

Bug Fixes:

• Under the SOPs, when an SOP that is already shared with a company gets unshared, all the administrators get a notification about the action.  This was fixed and only the people who are involved in the specific SOP that got unshared receive a notification.
• When logging in as a forwarding company, navigate to the tab overview of a lane.  The temperature graphs displayed show the temperature ranges but only in text and the color boxes next to them are missing.  This was fixed and the color boxes are visible again.
• When navigating to a lane and downloading the PDF with the selection to have a temperature graph, the graphs are small.  This was fixed and now the graphs are bigger and clearer in the PDF download.
• When navigating to a company location where the capabilities are public or shared with your company when downloading the PDF/Spreadsheet for the standard questionnaire, the extended is downloaded.  This was fixed and now the standard questionnaire can be downloaded when selected.
• When navigating to a lane that has a road step. and the supplier location that is used belongs to a non-tenant of Validaide, but has a “Reviewed” view from your company, the lane, in the lane overview tab the step appears orange instead of green.  This was fixed and now the step appears green.
• When navigating to a company location that has more than 3 images in the Gallery and clicking on the 3 dots on the overview page, the system repeats the images.  This was fixed, and the users don’t see repeated images anymore.
• When navigating to a lane that has a pick-up point, a drop-off point, and a long description in the lane details, when downloading the lane PDF, the pick-up point and drop-off point are not visible.  This was fixed and now the pick-up point and drop-off point are visible.
• When trying to download a supplier XLS file with filtering, the system gives an error.  This was fixed and the system doesn’t give an error anymore and the XLS file can be downloaded.
• When navigating in a supplier's profile under the Location tab and filtering the locations, users are not able to clear the filters by clicking on the “x” button.  This was fixed and the filters can be removed now by clicking on the “x” button.
