To ensure GDP compliance we propose an automated data-driven approach to Lane Characterizations. This approach incorporates data sources such as supplier handling capabilities, flight schedules and climate data into a quantitative assessment algorithm. This data-driven approach makes configuring Lane Risk Assessments better scalable to a large volume of Lanes and allows the user to easily evaluate and compare the assessment of different transport Lanes. As a result, it may contribute to efficiency gains in regulatory compliance, shortened route qualifications, and lower transportation costs due to better-informed decision making.
Based on data from our Capabilities Platform and other data sources, Validaide users can easily create door-to-door Lane Risk Assessments with an evaluation of six factors:
- Temperature Exposure – based on the predicted ambient temperature profile
- Temperature Protection – provided by the thermal packaging solution
- Pharma Quality Management – based on supplier pharma capabilities
- Security – based on supplier capabilities and security certifications
- Duration and Complexity – determined based on transit points and other parameters
- Lane Performance - based on the actual shipment performance and shipment incidents on a Lane
