Suppliers and companies can define and customize their own labels for two different types of classification (for Company Location or for Supplier Location and Suppliers). Only an administrator user can change the description of the classification.
The administrator can go to the settings menu of the tenant configuration under Administration. Here the administrator user can modify the description for own company location classification and supplier location classification.
Please note, that a user is not able to enable/disable this functionality anymore. The functionality is always enabled by default.
When a Location Classification is selected, the Classification Description is visible next to the name on Locations overview.
A User can modify the Classification type, under Configuration - Classification.
When a user chooses a location classification it is visualized in the header beside the location's name.
A user is also able to filter locations by classification descriptions in the My Locations overview.
Adding Location Active/Inactive Label
Tenant administrators and Responsible users can deactivate company locations to reflect site changes. Deactivated locations will no longer appear in the selection list when configuring Lanes and SOPs, helping to maintain data accuracy and relevance.
- To set up a label, a new field “Is this Location currently active?” has been added under Location Configuration tab > General Information, with options: Yes / No
- This label is not shown under the Market Info > Locations
- Inactive locations won’t be selectable in lane steps
- Responsible and tenant admin can update this information in any location workflow status
The Active/Inactive tag is also visible in the:
- Company/Supplier location spreadsheet
- Location overview spreadsheet
- Lane PDF
- Location PDF
