Validaide predicts the tarmac temperature based on the daily average temperature in January and July, used in the Temperature Exposure Assessment. Click here for more information on the Lane assessment algorithm related to temperature Exposure. You may want to see the temperature exposure based on a different temperature input.
To do that, go to the "Configuration" tab under the Lane page.
Under the Ground Handling Step, besides Tarmac & Loading, click on the pencil icon to modify the step.
In the "Modify Tarmac Loading Phase" pop-up window under the "Assessment" tab, select 'Yes' to overrule the expected tarmac temperature. You will get text boxes to override the tarmac temperature manually, as shown below.
This selection also shows the average minimum, average maximum, and daily average for January and July at the airport location to support the user.
When manually set, the temperature graph and exposure assessment will use the manually set temperatures.
