GHAs and air carriers can turn on public data sharing, meaning that their certain core capabilities are visible to their (potential) customers within Validaide. Please note that we prevent any competitors to access this data.
If a GHA has turned on public data sharing and you are authorized, you can see the capabilities of their locations they have defined their view on.
How to turn on public sharing? (for GHAs and Air Carriers)
If an air carrier has turned on public sharing and you are authorized, you can see the capabilities of locations they have defined their own view on, and you can also see their company capabilities.
Any Location
In the Locations menu you can search for any location. If the capabilities are available you see the that the bar in front of the logo is green:
After clicking on the location, go to the Capabilities tab where you can see how many companies have an available view on this location. Click on the pencil icon to select whose view you would like to see:
You can see the summary of the capabilities and below that all the available capabilities based on the view you selected.
Your Supplier Locations
In the My Locations menu you have all the locations you own or have added as a supplier location. If you click on a supplier location you can see all the public views in the Compare tab:
Highlighted in yellow is the view of the owner of the location.
Your Supplier Air Carriers
In case air carriers turned on public sharing, you can also see their company capabilities. To do so you have to have them added as a supplier in your environment.
Go to the My Suppliers menu and click on the company. Similarly to the My Locations, here you will also find the public data in the Compare tab:
