Create a Lane from Flight Search
In Validaide you can search for flight legs, and create lanes directly with that leg in the Flight Search menu.
You just have to select the airports you are flying from and flying to and hit the Search button. Optionally, you can select your preferred airline, and in the advanced options, you can select the aircraft type.
Please note that you can only search for DIRECT FLIGHTS. Not connecting flights. E.g., in case you would like to fly from AMS to JFK with Swiss, first, you need to search for AMS-ZRH and create the lane, and then add another leg ZRH-JFK to that lane.
See below an example for the flight search AMS-ZRH:
In the results on the left side, you see the airline name and logo, next to it the flight code, flight duration, and if there are any technical stops, the operating days and the aircraft type. On the right side we show the origin and destination, together with the departure and arrival times (and day indicator) in local times. The GHAs of the air carriers per airport are also visible if known. On the far right side, you find the button, which helps you to create a lane with the selected flight.
How to create and configure a lane
We get our flight schedules from an external database, however, some flights—especially charter flights—may occasionally be missing. If you come across a missing flight, you can report it, and we will manually add the flight schedule for you.
Report a Missing Flight
To report a missing flight, simply click the button at the top right corner and fill out the required details in the pop-up window, including flight information, schedule, and equipment. Once all the information is provided, click the
button to submit your request.
