Add Thermal Packaging in Lane Risk Assessment.
When creating a lane request manufacturer can add approved packaging from the “My Packaging” list.
As the forwarder receiving the lane creation request is the owner of the lane the packaging information can still be overridden by the forwarder. Forwarder has access to the packaging information of a manufacturer if the manufacturer has sent it in a lane request. The lane is automatically shared with the manufacturer and the only way to remove the manufacturer is by clicking on the “stop sharing” button, the packaging has to be changed to own or manual if a forwarder wants to stop sharing the lane.
A manufacturer user can still go back and override the packaging, even if the forwarder has changed it. All changes will be captured in the audit trail. The lane status has to be “In Progress” in order to apply the change.
Who can change make this change? – approvers, QA approvers contributors and tenant admin.
Removal of qualified duration question for certain types of packaging - When creating a lane, the qualified duration question no longer appears for options “non-insulated” or “thermal blanket”, two active types, electroactive and dry ice active.
All companies, active and inactive can be selected as a forwarder in lane creation request if the forwarder is inactive, the lane is created in the manufacturer's environment.
It is possible to limit the possibility of sending the Lane Creation Requests to a specific group of people, in order to do that a group of users has to be pre-defined by an administrator user and then the limitation of lane creation has to be set in the settings.
After the lane request has been sent, the responsible user that has been assigned receives a task to review the lane request. If the request is assigned to a group, one of the group members can claim the Lane Review Request.
After clicking on the task, a new pop-up window appears.
If rejecting the request, the responsible user has to give a reason for rejection. The manufacturer-responsible user that has submitted the lane creation request receives a task when the lane creation request has been rejected. Two options are offered: 1. To adjust and resubmit the request, 2. to delete the request.
If approving the lane request a responsible person has to be assigned on both sides - the manufacturer and forwarder side, it is possible to assign an own company approver and a QA approver as well.
Please note: When roles are assigned a lane is created in the forwarder environment and shared with the manufacturer. If a forwarder user is not assigned, a lane is created in the manufacturers environment.
The assigned forwarder user can then begin building the lane. After the forwarder has completed the lane risk assessment the manufacturer user(s) can be added as approvers to approve the lane, up to 6 users.

1. Navigate to your lane overview.
2. Select the lanes you would want to request to be updated or deactivated.
After having clicked on the “Update” or "Deactivation" button, a popup window will appear. Fill in the information and click on “Update” or "Deactivation". This request will be sent to the lane owner. The lane owner then has two options - to approve or to reject the request.
