Sometimes it happens that we do not have certain commercial flights available in our database due to changes or unknown schedules. Of course, this happens more often with charter flights due to the nature of these schedules, as they are specifically operated for a certain company.
If you are searching for a flight but you cannot find it in our flight schedule database, you can request it to be added by us, by filling in a form.
Before you report a missing flight, please make sure that you are searching for a direct flight, as it is currently not possible to search for multi-leg flights in Validaide.
To request a flight schedule, you need to follow below steps:
1. Go to the Flight Search menu
2. Click on the Report Missing Flight button in the top right corner
3. You get a pop-up window
4. In the first tab of the pop-up window fill in the information about the flight:
- Select if it is a charter flight or not (required)
- Select the origin airport (required)
- Select destination airport (required)
- Select airline (required)
- Enter the flight code (required)
- Add a name for the charter flight (optional, only for charter flights)
- Select which forwarder the flight is chartered by (required, only for charter flights)
5. In the second tab of the pop-up window fill in the information about the schedule:
- Enter the departure time in local time in 00:00 format (Optional)
- Enter the arrival time in local time in 00:00 format (Optional)
- The flight duration is calculated automatically based on the above two values
- The arrival day changes if the system detects that the flight arrives the next day, or otherwise you can also change this manually if required
- Select the operating days (Optional)
- Set an effective and discontinue date (Optional)
6. In the third tab of the pop-up window select the equipment (aircraft type) from a drop-down menu
7. After you are done filling in the information, confirm your request by clicking on the Report Missing button
Once we have received your request, our support team will add the flight schedule to our database and will inform you that the flight has become available in the system.
Please note that if it is a charter flight, it will be only visible/accessible to the forwarding company that is chartering it. Other companies will not be able to see it or use it to create lanes.
