Temperature Protection

Temperature Protection evaluates the level of protection to a product provided by the transport packaging against ambient temperature conditions. For Ocean Lanes, we consider the combination of Container Type and Packaging Type.

The evaluation of Packaging is outlined below:

Example:

An Ocean Lane with Dry Container and a Thermal Blanket is classified as "Moderate", based on the protection provided by the Thermal Blanket. In the same way, an Ocean Lane with Dry Container and Passive Insulation as Packaging Type is classified as "Good".
