This FAQ article answers common questions about our audit trail functionality, its scope, archival policies, and future updates.
1. Which entities are currently covered by the audit trail?
The audit trail currently covers:
- Lanes:
- SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)[ST1]
- My Company
- My Locations
- My Suppliers
2. What is the archival period for the audit trail?
The archival period for the audit trail depends on whether the lane or SOP has been removed:
- Active Lanes/SOPs: There is no defined limit to the archival period as long as the lane or SOP is not removed.
- Removed Lanes/SOPs: Once a lane or SOP is removed, the associated audit trail is retained for a period of two years.
3. What happens to the audit trail for existing lanes and SOPs?
For existing lanes and SOPs, the audit trail begins logging from Release 7.4, effective October 31st. This means that the audit trail will initially be empty and start recording actions from that date onward. Historical actions prior to this release will not be available.
4. Can I view the audit trail for shared lanes or SOPs?
Only the owner of a lane or SOP has access to view the associated audit trail. If you share lanes or SOPs with other users, they will not be able to see the audit trail—only you, as the owner, will have access to it.
5. Can I download the audit trail?
Tenant Administrator can download CSV files of the Audit Trail. To ensure performance, downloads are limited to a maximum of 5,000 entries. A tooltip message appears when hovering over the download button to inform about this limitation.
